Way back in 1997, few students aspiring to become Company Secretary Professional approached Mr. K. G. Mohan, a Practising Company Secretary, requesting to provide coaching for the Course. Mr. Mohan, also a Teacher by passion and who loved to support student community, as always agreed and thus, ‘Mohans Institute’ took its birth.
As the time flied past, many Company Secretaries were born with the support of ‘Mohan Sir’, the way the students called him. His two sons also became Company Secretaries in the due course. The dream to formalize it into an institute was always cherished by Mohan Sir, as by the time, he was also providing coaching for Chartered Accountancy as well. His younger son Prashant, a Company Secretary and Chartered Accountant, was in his mid-corporate career, joined to chase Mr.Mohan's dream and thus in 2010, a rejuvenated M I C S (Mohans Institute of Corporate Studies) was born. The intention to create M I C S was also the request from the student community and the thought process behind it was by visualizing quality education for the Professional Courses along with the Graduation. "Catch them Young" is the statement followed by the Corporates, which also has the mirror side that "Become a Professional at the Young age".
M I C S brings along an exclusivity with it by a mandate that the Professional Coaching would be done only by Qualified Professionals, which actually has been and is producing results consistently not only for M I C S but also for the students per se. It is also analogously ensured that practical reasoning and approach is stitched along with thereby guaranteeing the making of a Professional.
M I C S also conducts programmes on crisis management and personality development which makes it possible for the students to better approach the life confidently and positively.
It also adds to its feather that MICS has been successful in producing the youngest qualified Company Secretary, ever, in the history of the ICSI. M I C S believes and aims to groom an individual into a well equipped professional capable of handling any type of crisis efficiently and successfully, thus evolving out a complete professional.

Mr. Prashant Mohan, B.Com., LLB., ACA, FCS, MBA a Chartered Accountant in Practice and a young professional with a forte in legal interpretation and financial analysis decided to chase his dream with M I C S and took a detour of his corporate career. A Post Graduate in Management and Business Administration, Mr.Prashant is zealous in unearthing and living out the novel coaching techniques in sound with the corporate requirement and thus leaving an edge. He is in charge of the Ernakulam M I C S.
Mr. K.G. Mohan, M.Com., B.A., CAIIB, F.C.S, a Company Secretary in Practice with over 45 years experience in diversified fields of banking, company secretarial and financial services. A Post – Graduate in Commerce, Mr. Mohan is also a Member of the Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai. He bagged an All India Silver Medal for his performance in the Final CS Examination of June, 1983. Mr.Mohan possesses over 24 years experience in coaching for CS, CAIIB and CA and was also a faculty of Cochin Chapters of ICSI and ICAI.
Mr. Srikant Mohan, M.Com., L.L.B., F.C.S, a Company Secretary in Practice with around 15 years of experience in diversified functional levels in corporate including Finance, Legal, HR and Administration apart from the Secretarial took up his passion to join M I C S at his mid- corporate career. A Post – Graduate in Commerce with specialization in Finance, Mr.Srikant is a representative and orator of the modern management concepts. He takes care of the functions directly at Bangalore.
